  1. 01DiscoveryInspect handoff
Can shoppers find the relevant range?

Organic catalogue discovery starts with meaningful categories, crawlable routes and sensible indexing decisions. Filters and variants need rules that support useful pages.

  2. 02Category / productInspect handoff
Does the page support the choice?

Connect category intent with accurate product information, specifications, availability and delivery expectations. Merchandising knowledge gives content substance.

Your team: product truth and approval

  3. 03Paid demandInspect handoff
    Which products merit investment?

Google may capture search or product demand; Meta may introduce or reinforce an offer. Feed readiness, creative, stock and margin shape the choice. Neither channel belongs in every plan.

  4. 04Purchase pathInspect handoff
Can a buyer complete the next step?

Review product clarity, mobile use, delivery information and checkout friction. Store changes need an implementation owner; a full rebuild is a separate scope.

  5. 05MeasurementInspect handoff
What do the order records establish?

Check purchase-event definitions, duplicate events, stock and returns. Relate spend to margin where reliable business data permits; platform revenue alone does not establish profitability.

The business situation

A discoverable product still needs a usable purchase path.

Search can surface the wrong category, advertising can promote unavailable stock, and a product page can leave a buyer uncertain. We separate those problems, then connect the work around the ranges the business can actually supply. More traffic is not the default answer.

The journey above is a decision guide. Capabilities are selected around your actual constraints, with scope agreed before delivery.

Your part in the system

The inputs that make the work useful.

Catalogue and economics
Priority ranges, stock rules, margin bands, returns and fulfilment constraints.
Store and feed access
Platform access, existing event definitions, product feeds and someone able to ship changes.
Merchandising and creative
An approval owner, accurate product information and agreed assets or separately scoped production.

Evidence before interpretation

Measure the stages. Keep their meanings distinct.

Agree the event, its source and the business definition. Later outcomes need later records, and attribution has limits.

01

Organic catalogue contribution

Discovery and useful visits to priority categories and product templates.

02

Paid acquisition

Spend and recorded actions alongside availability, margin and attribution limits.

03

Purchase-path evidence

Validated purchase events and observed friction. Profitability needs business records, including relevant costs and returns.

No sales, revenue, return on ad spend or conversion uplift is guaranteed. Platform, stock, pricing, fulfilment and implementation constraints shape the scope. Illustrative decisions do not establish ecommerce performance results.

Scope & responsibility

Agree the work. Name the owners.

We agree the capabilities, deliverables, fees, responsibilities and review points in writing. Connected Growth may bring the work together; a single-channel or focused improvement scope may be more suitable. Advertising media is funded separately in your own accounts.

Your team supplies business facts, approvals and outcome feedback. Development, extensive production and CRM integrations need explicit scope and owners. RankNexus does not automatically provide a CRM or operate your sales process.

How we agree and deliver the work

Practical questions

Ecommerce, connected.

Do you work only on Shopify?

No single platform is assumed. We assess access, capability and implementation requirements before agreeing the work.

Should every product run in paid campaigns?

No. Demand, stock, margin, feed quality and creative readiness inform the decision. Organic discovery and paid acquisition can have different priorities.

Does this include a store rebuild?

A full rebuild, replatform or extensive development is not included by default. Focused improvements, owners and implementation responsibilities are defined in the scope.

How do you judge whether the work is profitable?

Platform reporting can show attributed actions or revenue. Profitability requires reliable costs, margin, fulfilment and returns data from your business. We state the limits when those records are unavailable; no return is guaranteed.
