What was the challenge?
The products and the structure were there, but the store wasn't ranking for enough of the searches its customers make, so its category and product pages weren't reaching people already looking for technology online.
Case study / SEO & AI search / Tech store
Vertex Computing LLC is an online technology store selling computing accessories, electronics and home tech. We ran its SEO, and between December 2022 and December 2024 its estimated organic traffic grew about 10 times, from about 1.9K to 20K visits a month, with 32.9K ranking keywords, according to Ahrefs.
From Ahrefs, 10 Dec 2022 to 7 Dec 2024.

02 / The challenge and the work
Where the client started, what we changed and what the figures show.
The products and the structure were there, but the store wasn't ranking for enough of the searches its customers make, so its category and product pages weren't reaching people already looking for technology online.
We researched the searches tied to each product and category, optimized category pages around search intent, and strengthened supporting content: internal links, page relevance, search-focused headings and copy, and links between helpful content and commercial pages. We then built links from relevant technology, consumer and ecommerce sites, spread across category, product and supporting pages instead of the homepage alone.
Between December 2022 and December 2024, estimated organic traffic grew about 10 times, from about 1.9K to 20K visits a month, ending at a new high, according to Ahrefs. By December 2024 the store ranked for 32.9K keywords, 360 of them in Google's top 3, with an estimated traffic value of $13.3K a month, and its referring domains had grown from about 600 to about 1.1K.
The whole process was smooth and they were very patient whenever we asked for changes. Even after the main work was completed, if we needed help with something, they were still there.

Traffic didn't rise in a straight line: it fell from about 15.0K to 12.2K between early November and late December 2023, and from about 17.9K to 13.8K between mid-August and late September 2024, before reaching the 20K high.
The Organic search panel shows no date of its own; its 20K matches the chart's last point (7 December 2024).

What this means for your business
If your store has the products but not the rankings, the work starts with the searches behind each category: pages built around intent, internal links that connect them, and links from sites your buyers already trust.
Ahrefs figures are estimates from a third-party tool, not the client's own analytics, and rankings move with every update. This is a record of one client's result, not a forecast for yours.
About these results
Two years: the figures cover 10 December 2022 to 7 December 2024, from Ahrefs. Traffic didn't rise in a straight line; the chart shows two dips along the way before the 20K high.
It's an Ahrefs estimate of monthly organic search visits, not the store's own analytics, and the same goes for traffic value. Keyword counts and positions are what Ahrefs tracked in Google.
We researched the searches behind each product and category, optimized category pages around search intent, strengthened supporting content and internal links, and built links from relevant technology, consumer and ecommerce sites.
