AI Search Visibility

Be a source worth understanding.

AI Search Visibility improves how clearly your public pages explain your business and support useful answers. RankNexus connects technical access, buyer questions, consistent business facts and original evidence, then observes relevant search experiences without presenting a mention, citation or changing answer as a guaranteed outcome.

We improve and observe what is in scope. Platforms choose whether, where and when to use a source.

Sources
Service information
Original evidence
Consistent business facts
Entity / evidenceWho you are. What supports the answer.
  1. Answerable pageA clear answer with boundaries

Name the service, explain who it is for and place the evidence beside the claim.

  2. RetrievalAccess is a prerequisite

Useful content must be available to the relevant search system. Access does not guarantee selection.

  3. ObservationRecord what actually happened

Keep the question, system, market and date with any observed citation or referral. Repeat carefully; results can vary.

Accessible sources and clear evidence can support retrieval. Whether an AI system uses, cites or recommends a page remains outside our control.

The decision that matters

Make the answer useful before chasing an appearance.

AI SEO, generative engine optimisation (GEO) and answer engine optimisation (AEO) overlap. They describe search visibility, generative experiences and clear answers. The useful work is shared: accessible pages, specific information and credible evidence. For complex offers, connect it to B2B Lead Generation.

Who it is for
Businesses with complex buyer questions and expertise or evidence they can substantiate publicly.
What shapes scope
Markets, question sets, technical access, page improvements, evidence review and observation methods.
The boundary
No guarantee of ChatGPT visibility, Google AI Overviews or AI Mode inclusion, Gemini or Perplexity mentions, citations, rankings, leads, revenue, ROAS or sales.

A readable observation record

Record the context, not just the mention.

An answer, a source citation and a website visit are different observations. Keep the conditions and limitations with the result so a single check cannot become a performance claim.

A repeatable question, with an honest record

Example question“What should a B2B team check before choosing an SEO partner?”
Capture conditions
Record the system, date, market, language and relevant account or session conditions.
Answer observation
Record what was actually visible and whether the business was mentioned. Retain an approved capture where appropriate.
Source observation
If a citation appears, record its exact destination and the claim it supports. A mention without a linked source is a different observation.
Referral evidence
Review available analytics for attributable visits and meaningful actions. Missing referral data is not proof of no exposure.
Interpretation
Separate observed facts from possible explanations. One check does not establish stable visibility, market share or commercial impact.
Next check
Repeat a defined question set under documented conditions and compare carefully.

What RankNexus does

Three connected areas of work. One accurate public story.

01

Access and business facts

Review crawling, indexing, page access and consistent descriptions of the business. Technical SEO helps diagnose barriers. Crawler controls have different purposes: search discovery and potential model training are separate access decisions.

OutputAn access review and a record of factual or structural gaps.

02

Answerable pages with evidence

Connect buyer questions with the offer, process, scope, limitations and original examples. Content SEO supplies the page strategy. Important facts should be textual and structured data should match visible content. For Google AI features, a supporting page needs to be indexed and eligible for a search snippet; that does not ensure selection.

OutputPage briefs, evidence requirements and scoped improvements.

03

Observation with a stated method

Record the platform, question, market, date and what actually appeared. A business mention, linked citation and tracked referral are different observations. Keep unrelated samples distinct, with the method and limits beside each observation. An isolated appearance does not establish a stable ranking.

OutputA repeatable question set and a readable observation log.

What we agree together

Evidence you can publish

Your team verifies facts and supplies first-hand expertise. Client examples, records and screenshots need appropriate permission. Where proof is unavailable, we explain the process and its limits.

Access and implementation

CMS, Search Console, analytics and hosting input may be needed. You retain account ownership. If pages cannot be changed, a defined assessment and handover may be the useful scope.

Independent platform decisions

We control agreed research and delivery, not source selection, answer generation or recrawl timing. Search Console data, observed answers and referral analytics describe different parts of the picture.

Review the work honestly

Practical questions

AI Search Visibility, explained.

Is AI Search Visibility a replacement for SEO?

No. AI SEO, GEO and AEO overlap with established search, content and technical work. We focus the scope on buyer questions, accessible pages, clear business facts and supporting evidence. The labels do not create a separate technical shortcut or a promise that a platform will choose your content.

Can you guarantee mentions or citations?

No. Platforms select sources and generate answers using systems outside our control. Responses can vary by question, market, timing and session. An isolated appearance is an observation, not a stable ranking or proof of commercial value. We report the method and limitations alongside what was observed.

Do we need llms.txt or special AI schema?

There is no special AI schema or AI meta tag in this service. Google's AI search guidance calls for established SEO practices and does not require new AI text files. Markup should describe facts visible on the page. A file or schema change does not guarantee discovery, retrieval or citation.

How do crawler controls affect the work?

Crawler permissions need to be considered separately from content improvements. OAI-SearchBot concerns search discovery; GPTBot is a separate crawler associated with potential model training and has independent controls. Google Search and Google-Extended also have different purposes. Allowing search access never guarantees inclusion. We agree access decisions with the site owner.

What can you measure, and how long does progress take?

We can review agreed delivery, repeated answer observations, available Search Console data, identifiable referral visits and defined contact events. Google's Generative AI performance reports can add impressions and page-level visibility for supported features, alongside overall search reporting. These are not a cross-platform AI score or proof of leads. Timing depends on the starting point, approvals, implementation and platform decisions. No citation or commercial-result date is promised.
