Local SEO

Be understood where you actually serve.

Local SEO connects genuine service coverage with the information nearby customers use to choose a business. RankNexus reviews your website, eligible Google Business Profile, service pages and enquiry path so people can understand what you offer, where you operate and how to contact you.

Real operations, accurate information and useful enquiries. No promised map position.

Relevance

Service descriptions and useful pages help people understand the match.

Reviews

Genuine customer experiences inform decisions. No fabricated or incentivised reviews.

Prominence

Consistent business information and earned recognition can support trust.

Real service coverage

Where the business can actually deliver, with eligibility checked.

Relevance, prominence and real service coverage connect the information customers see. Proximity also affects local results; no location or position is promised.

The decision that matters

Start with the operation, then define the coverage.

A location page or profile needs a real business behind it. Establish eligibility, service boundaries and how enquiries reach your team before adding more pages. Our Service Businesses solution connects local discovery with the capacity to handle those enquiries.

Who it is for
Eligible local and service-area businesses, including teams managing several genuine locations.
What shapes scope
Eligible locations, service areas, profile condition, competition and content maintenance.
The boundary
Distance and platform decisions remain outside our control. No guarantee of map placement, rankings, traffic, leads, AI mentions, sales or revenue.

What RankNexus does

A consistent business, wherever someone finds it.

01

Business and profile baseline

Check eligible operations, accurate categories, contact details, hours and ownership. The website and Google Business Profile should describe the same real offer. Virtual addresses do not create new eligible branches.

OutputA factual profile and location checklist with agreed access.

02

Pages that answer a local need

Explain the actual service, practical coverage, conditions and next step. Use Content SEO to resolve useful local questions rather than repeating a city name across near-identical pages.

OutputPrioritised service-page briefs and contextual internal links.

03

An enquiry path you can assess

Review genuine review-request practices and the route from page or profile to contact. When visitors reach the right place but hesitate, Conversion Optimization can address clarity and friction within a separate agreed scope.

OutputDefined contact events and a review of enquiry relevance.

A location decision

Coverage first. Pages second.

A location page needs something useful and true to say. Start with real delivery boundaries, then decide whether a separate page helps the customer.

Should this service area have its own page?

Real delivery areaA useful local answerOne clear enquiry route
Verify first
The area is genuinely served and the business can explain any delivery limits.
Useful evidence
Relevant service details, real work where permission exists, and practical information customers need.
Page decision
Create a separate page only where it has a distinct purpose. Otherwise improve the main service and coverage information.
Profile decision
Check Google Business Profile eligibility and accurate representation. A new page does not justify another profile.
Enquiry check
Make contact details and the service-area question clear. Track a meaningful contact action with appropriate consent.

What we agree together

Business-owned access

You retain ownership of the website and profile. An authorised person confirms operating details, hours, services and proposed changes.

Genuine local evidence

Reviews, photos and customer examples must reflect real activity, with permission where needed. We do not invent reviews, offices or local outcomes.

Feedback from the team

Profile interactions and form submissions are not automatically qualified enquiries. Your team helps distinguish relevant opportunities from unsuitable or duplicate contacts.

Review the work honestly

Practical questions

Local SEO, explained.

Can a service-area business use a virtual office for its profile?

A mailing or virtual-office address does not establish an eligible location by itself. A business that travels to customers needs the appropriate service-area setup and must hide its address where required. Eligibility depends on actual operations, not the address you would prefer to rank around.

Can you guarantee a top-three Maps position?

No. Local results are influenced by relevance, distance and prominence. We can improve accurate business information and useful website content, but we cannot move the searcher or control Google's selection. A service-area setting does not secure visibility throughout that area.

Do we need a page for every city?

Only where a separate page serves a distinct need with accurate, useful information. Real coverage, different services or meaningful local evidence may justify a page. Swapping city names in otherwise identical copy does not create that value.

Can you help us request reviews?

We can help establish a suitable request process for genuine customers. Requests must follow platform rules and preserve honest feedback. We do not buy reviews, fabricate experiences or promise review quantities.

How does local work relate to SEO, and how long does it take?

Local SEO shares technical, content and measurement fundamentals with SEO, while adding location relevance, profile eligibility and real coverage. Timing depends on the starting condition, competition, approvals and platform decisions. A delivery plan does not guarantee a ranking or enquiry outcome by a particular date.
